Glenbrook Hospital Ambulatory Care Center
174,000 sf LEED certified outpatient and cancer care center
Glenview, Illinois
The new three-story, 174,000 sf ambulatory care center features a two-story atrium lobby, which will double as the main outpatient hospital entrance. The atrium includes central registration and waiting areas with abundant interior landscaping, water features, and a fireplace. The building’s sustainable measures include a partial green roof that will be visible from other campus structures.
The 30,000 sf Kellogg Cancer Care Center on the building’s ground floor houses three flexible modules that facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. Each module contains six treatment rooms, four exam rooms, a nurses’ station, and physician consult and support areas. It also features an eight-chair infusion room and a variety of options for patient privacy. All treatment rooms have large windows overlooking the scenic cancer care garden's walking paths, sitting areas, and rock water wall.
