Four components will ultimately make up this rapidly growing telecommunication company’s manufacturing facility, all of which will be clustered around a five-acre detention pond at the south end of the 16-acre site.
Phase I of the three-phase project includes a Visitor’s Center (15,000 sf), administration wing (110,000 sf) and manufacturing wing (85,000 sf).
The first phase helped Westell establish a new corporate identity in anticipation of its initial public offering.
Visible from half a mile’s distance, the Visitor’s Center is the facility’s main entrance. Inspiration for its silver planar wall came from the electronic switch cards Westell manufactures.
