The new Ambulatory Care Center for NorthShore University HealthSystem’s Skokie Hospital contains clinical and physician office space and connects to the hospital via a glass-enclosed bridge and utility tunnel. The building features four levels (averaging 25,000 sf each) and has a full lower level with a diagnostic imaging suite. An outpatient lab and pharmacy, as well as a mammography suite, are also on-site.
The facility has a dedicated entry that leads directly into a two-story atrium with public elevators and amenities. The flexible, open floor plan features 30-foot by 30-foot column bays and a continuous band of perimeter windows.
