As the first cancer care infusion center for DuPage Medical Group, this 5,000 sf space creates a soothing environment that reflects DMG’s high quality of care. The 10-chair infusion center uses natural lighting, warm wood tones, and artwork to create a homey, comfortable setting for patients. A central dome in the room incorporates colored LED light to wash the room in glow and serve as a focal point for patients receiving chemotherapy. Other key elements of the design incorporate deep rich tones and themes from nature—reflecting both clinical research on promoting well being in cancer treatment and DMG’s brand identity.
