Proposed masterplan and design for GSA office building on the west side of Chicago
Chicago, Illinois

The proposed 450,000 sf GSA office building is Chicago architecture at its best, where design excellence is achieved through the resolution and expression of unique circumstances into an environment that enhances life. Beginning with an efficiently organized site with sustainable landscaping, to an architecture exhibiting openness and context, the building accommodates the program while establishing an architectural presence.

Office areas were designed to be technically advanced, environmentally innovative, and extremely flexible. The primary exterior skin materials are brick masonry, copper panels, laminated glass and precast concrete trim. Brick relates to adjacent structures while copper conveys the permanence, dignity, and warmth befitting a government building.
