Skokie Hospital
Feasibility assessment; masterplan of site; and design of new hospital lobby, clinical laboratory, central plant, and medical office building
Skokie, Illinois
ESA was retained by NorthShore University HealthSystem to perform a top-to-bottom feasibility assessment and develop visions for an anticipated $110 million redevelopment of the 20-acre campus. The implementation of the masterplan improvements will include approximately 155,000 sf of new space and the renovation of approximately 55,000 sf.
Phase I calls for the renovation of the atrium lobby. Also of high priority is the correction of existing deficiencies, including parking, truck docks, emergency generator capacity, and central plant capacity. A new Ambulatory Care Center is also in design.
